Clematis Etoile Violette - Late Summer Flowering Clematis

This is a vigorous and fully hardy scrambling Clematis. 'Etoile Violette' has stunning, deep-purple flowers with a creamy yellow centre. Blooming from July to September, this beautiful plant is covered in masses of these showy flowers and looks stunning when grown through trees, shrubs and climbing roses. Also looks magnificent planted against a sunny wall or fence. Tends to thrive in fertile, well-drained soil in a position of full sun.
