Ceanothus Eldorado - Golden Variegated Californian Lilac

A rare gold variegated form of this California native. Dramatic contrast between yellow in foliage and profuse blue flowers in spring, then variegation adds interest the rest of the year. Good resistance to summer heat reduces risk of burning inland. Upright form makes high profile specimen against dark walls, as a screen or single dramatic specimen.

Eldorado prefers a free draining soil, but not a particularly rich fertile one, it is best protected from hot afternoon sun as in its natural canyon habitat. Evergreen. Full sun to part shade. Slow growth to 8 feet tall and as wide.
