Elymus magellanicus

As well as striking metallic blue-grey foliage all year round, this neat grass has fawn spikes of flowers in June to October. Its colour is most intense in late spring and summer and it needs full sun for the bluest possible leaves. Although a beach grass it is not invasive and it does particularly well on sandy or poor stony soil. Reaching apporx 60cms x 60cms. Grows best in sun on any well-drained soil. Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
