Heuchera Obsidian

This is a beautiful, compact form of Heuchera that is perfect for filling in gaps with interesting evergreen foliage. The leaves are reddish-black when they grow in and darken to almost black with age. It grows up to a metre tall and wide and looks great mixed in with other plants in beds and borders but looks equally beautiful in a pot on its own. In the summer dark red stems bear small, creamy white flowers above the leaves.

Grow this plant in loam or sand soil and keep it moist. It enjoys growing in full sun or partial shade and can be grown in sheltered or exposed positions.
