Phygelius Yellow Sovereign

This compact shrub flowers beautifully in the summer and autumn, with panicles of creamy yellow blooms. These flowers create a stunning contrast with the dark green leaves. This plant remains within a meter tall and wide, making it ideal for smaller gardens and a great addition to herbaceous borders, beds or wildlife themed gardens.

A sheltered spot that receives full sun will keep this shrub happy. It will thrive in any type of soil as long as it is well-drained and kept moist, making it quite a versatile plant.

Can be cut back hard if it becomes tatty or damaged by the severe cold. Mulch with compost in spring in milder climates or autumn in colder areas to protect the root ball.
