Scabious atropurpurea 'Beaujolais Bonnets' - Scabiosa - Pincushion Flower

Attract droves of butterflies to your garden with this mouth-watering scabious. Its ruffled pincushion heads punctuate planting schemes with bursts of colour from late spring through until autumn.

The bushy plants form clusters of wiry stems clothed in unusual rich burgundy flowers with contrasting paler outer petals and white stamens.

The flowers have a long vase life, and if left uncut they produce endearing seed heads. Easy to grow in well drained soil and full sun. Supplied in approx 1 litre containers.
