Camellia japonica Alba Simplex

This beautiful evergreen shrub has stunning, dark green leaves which are contrasted nicely by white flowers in mid to late spring. The flowers are about 8.5cm across with gorgeous yellow centres and sometimes have pink flecks.

Grow this plant in moist, well-drained soil avoiding chalk. The soil should be acidic. It will grow well in a sheltered position in partial shade.
