This is the beautiful Persian Buttercup, in a myriad of shades, with paper-thin double ruffled huge blooms covering the plants.

Coming in a beautiful mixed range of the colours, these dwarf plants make a great addition to front-of-border plantings, or for use in all types of container, from patio pots to windowboxes. Their double, peony-shaped flowers come in a wide range of colours, including red, white, pink, rose, yellow, gold, orange and purple!

The flowers are held on stems up to 25cm tall each Spring for some time, and  they can even be cut to use in a vase, lasting a couple of weeks. In the garden they are remarkably resilient, being tolerant of both wind and rain. Once they've bloomed the foliage will fade off, but they'll re-emerge to repeat the show of colour the following season.
