Cercis canadencis var texensis Texas White - North American Redbud Tree

Cercis 'Texas White' is an unusual shrub that can also be grown as a small tree for its beautiful fresh foliage and the profuse blooming - gorgeous clear white flowers that appear before any leaves at the end of Winter. Then, the glorious fresh green heart-shaped leaves emerge, glossy and vibrant ruby. In autumn they turn striking shades of orange-yellow before they fall. The autumn sun makes some leaves appear to be translucent and others reflect the light. Try and plant in a position where the sun can back light the foliage to achieve the full effect.

This Cercis will form a bushy, rounded form with the branches smothered in tiny, pure white flowers ahead of the foliage each spring. Cercis canadensis Texas White is very easy to grow and maintain.
