Daphne mezereum rubra - Red Flowered Daphne mezureum Plants - LARGE
Availability: In stock
In February and March the bare branches of this native, deciduous shrub are smothered with clusters of fragrant, pink or purplish-pink flowers. Strongly upright in habit, it's perfect for a shrub border or woodland garden with well-drained but not dry humus-rich soil.
Supplied as a large, heavy, well established bushy plant growing in an approx. 7-10 litre container and full of bud in season.
Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-draining soil in sun or part shade. Does best if planted in the spring, resents transplanting so prevent moving once established.
