Hypericum Calycinum - Rose of Sharon

Hypericum Calycinum is also known as 'Aarons beard' or 'Rose of Sharon'. It is a fantastic, compact evergreen shrub that is ideal to be used as groundcover. Growing to a maximum of 60cm, this is a very hardy and versatile plant that will even thrive when planted on a dry, shady bank. Provides great all-year round interest as the foliage is ever-present. The bright yellow, star-shaped flowers have prominent red anthers protruding from the centre and contrast wonderfully with the mid-green foliage. Flowering for up to 4 months of the year, this Hypericum is sure to bring you much joy and ideal for providing attractive groundcover. We recommend trimming right back to the ground in Spring to encourage new growth and more prolific flowering.

Strong, bushy plants supplied in an approx 1.5 - 2.5 litre container.
