Nerines are stunning perennials hailing from South Africa, and generally flower when most other plants are fading in the garden. Usually Nerine undulate crispa will carry its flowers some where between mid-September or October up to Christmas in the garden. Graceful clusters of pale pink flowers with wavy petals are carried on strong upright stems. In summer, these plants just appear as green strapped-shaped leaves, but it is when the leaves are falling from all the trees that these will come in to their own, before migrating below ground again for a rest.

Thriving in full sun and light, well drained soil, they are also excellent for borders or containers, and prove to be fully hardy. They will do particularly well if you can afford them a bright sunny nook or sheltered place, perhaps near the house where they can really be appreciated in the duller days of Autumn. The stems of flowers can also be cut and are long lasting in a vase for the home too. Supplied in approx 2 litre containers, in bud/flower in season.
