A handsome, losely-formed bush of purple foliage, shoots spectacular fuzzy-looking spikes of fragrant, creamy-white flowers in mid summer. The deeply-cut, oblong-oval leaflets, have serrated edges and are nicely textured with deeply indented veining. Prefers partial shade in humusy soil. Needs constant moisture in full sun. For the perennial border or woodland garden.
