Smilacina racemosa often goes by the common name False Solomon's Seal. Very tough and beautiful, this photograph shows the plant coming into flower. Drought tolerant when established, pest resistant, with fragrant flowers, this plant is a real doer. It grows best in part shade. If several plants are grown, one can expect red fruit in the autumn. The fruit is semi-translucent and lasts for several months before either rotting off or being eaten by birds. This plant should be in more gardens as it requires no upkeep. Supplied in approx 2 litre containers.
