Perfect patio plants in tubs or containers, or planted in to your garden beds and borders for all year round colour.

Our Pieris are looking fantastic at this time of year - the fresh foliage is full of bright colours, and the buds are looking lovely - no wonder the plant has the common name ''Lily of the Valley shrub'' when covered in tiny bells.

This Collection consists of five distinct varieties selected from across our range and all supplied as top quality attractive bushy plants in approx 2 Litre containers, varieties such as:

Pieris japonica 'Passion'

Award winning exclusive New variety of the ever popular lily of the valley shrub with stunning cerise-red-pink flowers. Plants are covered in bloom all Spring, making this handsome new evergreen from Gardening Express an absolute must have. Pieris 'Passion' has been under development by growers in Holland for more than 15 year years, the initial attractraction being the flowers - on most pieris these are usually white in colour - but not this one! Supplied as bushy plants for masses of flowers this year.

Pieris japonica 'Ralto'

This new and exclusive Pieris Ralto, also known as Passion Frost is a fantastic evergreen shrub and is sure to brighten any spot in the garden you choose to plant it. The good thing is, it's not just limited to the garden bed or border but can equally be enjoyed in a large patio planter. Reaching up to around a metre tall and wide, the attractive foliage is variegated in creamy white or even light yellow. The show stopping flowers are the real star and what makes this plant unique, being the first ever variegated Pieris variety to carry the masses of lily-of-the-valley-like flowers in deep red-purple. The plant is attractive in bud as they form over several weeks, to burst out in all their glory in Spring, lasting for several weeks. Later on, new shoots on the plant are produced in vivid shades of burgundy-scarlet-red, making for season long interest, and a real winner of an evergreen plant for the patio or garden. The blooms even carry a light fragrance. This Pieris is perfect for a mixed border among dwarf conifers, combined with other shrubs and evergreen, or it will simply also look great in a large pot on a patio.

Pieris japonica 'Pink Frost'

This fantastic New and Exclusive shrub can hold its own, even without its beautiful blooms.

The evergreen growth is bushy and neatly branched, producing a plant that is a mass of dense glossy green leaves that sparkle with creamy-white edges. After the harshness of winter, each and every spring, the next surprise comes with an explosion of colour in the form of pendent clusters of soft-pink blooms welcoming the longer days and warmth of that Spring time brings.

Bring beauty to your garden all year round with this new and exclusive evergreen Pieris by planting in beds, borders or patio planters nearer the home. It is perfect amongst other plants, such as Nepeta, Alliums, Salvias, Sedums and Geraniums, where it's structure and subtle shades through the year will also compliment them when at their peak.

Pieris japonica 'Katsura'

A new Pieris from Japan, 'Katsura' boasts large glossy evergreen leaves with eye catching wine red new growth changing to green with age. Lovely rose-coloured flowers cascade over the foliage in spring creating many seasons of interest.

'Katsura' was actually an accidental discovery on a wooded hillside near a Shinto Temple.

The plant is perfect for patio planters, a partly shaded shrub border or woodland garden.

Pieris japonica 'Carnival'

A new introduction from Holland, this is a compact upright evergreen shrub with glossy leaves - bright red when young, then pink and finally green. All the time with a creamy white variegation to the edges. A really superb selection, with ivory white flowers in Spring. Absolutely brilliant, very bushy flowering sized plants.

If any of the above varieties run short, we will include another equally marvellous selection from our range, with top quality plants in other varieties such as 'Flaming Silver', 'Bonfire', 'Debutante', 'Red Mill', 'Little Heath' and more, we know you'll be thrilled with the quality and selection in our Special Deal Premier Pieris Collection.
