Fritillaria michailkovskyi is a richly flowering bulbous plant with striking reddish-purple flowers with yellow edges. The perfect choice for naturalising in the border or under bushes, and also very effective in a patio planter too thanks to its unusual look. Growing from an underground bulb means that it is also great for planting in grassland where it will increase and seed freely if it is happy. It has narrow grey-green leaves and looks really good when combined with evergreen ornamental grass varieties or ferns.
Supplied in bud in season in approx 10cm pots.
