Liquidambar is a gorgeous deciduous tree that makes a really beautiful addition to any garden with the space for a tree. The leaves are similar to a japanese maple in shape and are a beautiful, glossy green in the spring and summer. The real star of the show, however, is the autumn colour; this tree is known for the leaves turning brilliant oranges, reds, pinks, and purples in the autumn which add a lot of character to a garden.

Grow this tree in full sun or partial shade in a moist, well-drained soil.
