Heathers

Heathers are perfect if you want something evergreen that will carpet an area of the garden and provide welcome flowers every year. Choose from our wide selection of varieties to have a good cross over of flowering periods as well as a stunning contrast of attractively coloured foliage throughout the year. They can become a permanent feature as they are fully hardy, or simply use in combination with other flowering plants throughout the year or in seasonal patio planters. They'll do well even in poor sandy soils, but you should avoid chalk, and improve the condition of the planting area with compost for acid loving plants, also known as ericaceous compost, prior to planting.
