Fiery red, orange and golden foliage as it first emerges in spring. Acer palmatum 'Katsura' produces deeply-divided palmate foliage that transforms itself from a pale yellow to deep orange as the foliage matures. In midsummer the leaves become a rich shade of green before turning bright orange for a blast of special autumnal colour.
