Agapanthus africanus Blue Umbrella - Blue Lily of the Nile

Agapanthus ‘Blue Umbrella’ will throw up metre tall, strong stems with large spherical heads crammed with rich cobalt-blue flowers. This rise gracefully above the strap-like green foliage. They are a beautiful sight to behold in full flower in Summer and have become a particular favourites in British gardens, in sunny beds and borders as well as generous patio planters. The handsome dark green, broad strap-like leaves will form a neat clump and impenetrable ground cover once well established. Strong plants supplied in 2-3 litre containers.
