Agapanthus Petite Eskimo - Hardy White Nile Lily
Availability: Out of stock
Agapanthus Petite Eskimo, as the name suggested, is an excellent white flowered variety of the much-loved Nile Lily. It's perfect for nearer the front to middle of the border, or for planters on the patio, and will bloom prolifically from late June to October.
Agapanthus have lovely flowers, rounded globes that form of masses of individual star shaped blooms.
Commonly known as the Lily of the Nile, this Agapanthus is a reliable species that will thrive in a sunny border or container in well-drained soil. Why not try this white form combined with a blue variety to create a stunning cooler colour scheme?
Suitable for containers or borders, the flowers appear on stems above strap-like foliage, making this native of South Africa a must-have. Once the blooms have faded, the seed heads, if left, make an attractive winter feature.
Agapanthus Petite Eskimo is a hardy plant, often supplied complete with buds and blooms in season. Once fully established, each clump can be expected to throw up in excess of 100 flower stems over the summer, so your garden is going to be very popular with the bees and butterflies of the neighbourhood.
Reaching just 75cms tall in full bloom, the white Agapanthus Petitie Eskimo will thrive on well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Once established, it can resist summer droughts and winter cold as low as minus ten Celsius.Â
Supplied in approx 2-3 litre containers.
