Agastache aurantiaca - Orange Hummingbird Mint

Agastache aurantiaca, commonly known as Orange Hummingbird Mint, is a vibrant, aromatic perennial that produces slender spikes of soft orange to apricot tubular flowers from midsummer into early autumn. Its mint-scented, grey-green foliage is both attractive and fragrant, making it a favourite of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. With a bushy, upright habit, it adds warm colour and texture to sunny borders.

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established. Deadhead regularly to encourage continuous flowering. Ideal for wildlife-friendly gardens, Mediterranean borders, and gravel planting schemes. Combines beautifully with salvias, echinacea, and ornamental grasses.
