Alcea rosea "Mars Magic"

Alcea 'Mars Magic', sometimes called Mars Magic Hollyhock, enthrals gardeners with its vivid, deep red blossoms that grace tall, robust stalks. This perennial, which blooms from mid-summer to early autumn, is notable for its huge, rounded flowers that draw butterflies and bees and increase biodiversity. Its 1.8-meter vertical growth habit makes it a perfect choice for a dramatic backdrop in cottage gardens or for adding height and drama to borders. Mars Magic likes well-drained soil and grows best in full light. It only has to be watered frequently and occasionally fed with a balanced fertiliser, making maintenance quite simple.
