Allium multibulbosum 'Nigrum' - Pack of 5 Bulbs
Availability: Out of stock
Allium multibulbosum 'Nigrum', often known as Allium nigrum or Black Garlic, is a beautiful ornamental onion with domed clusters of creamy-white star-shaped blooms. Each rounded bloom flowers from late spring to early summer and sits atop a tall, sturdy stem, making it an excellent choice for borders and cut flower arrangements. Its graceful shape and subtle colours contrast nicely with brighter spring and summer blooms, adding a classic, architectural touch to any garden.
Plant bulbs in well-drained soil in a sunny position. Once established, this low-maintenance perennial is drought-tolerant and attracts bees and butterflies. Allow seed heads to dry naturally for enhanced texture and structure all season.
The flowers of this Allium are also edible, making a great addition to seasonal salads.
Supplied as a pack of 5 bulbs.
