Alstroemeria ‘Indian Summer’ has be to grown to be believed - it is simply breathtaking, boasting one of the longest flowering periods we have seen of any Alstroemeria with vibrant flowers against unique rich bronze foliage. The extended flowering period is thanks to it's repeat-blooming nature - throwing out more flower stems as summer progresses.

The foliage forms a neat rounded clump that makes superb ground cover when planted in large groups. Perfect for a sunny herbaceous borders or well-drained patio planters. Easy to grow and a reliable performer, perennial Peruvian Lily plants are drought tolerant, coping well in hot, sunny sites as well as being hardy to stand cold winters.  These hardy Peruvian Lilies are compact with an upright habit, ensuring that stems are still a good length for cutting in you want a few for a vase indoors.

The flowers themselves are sensational, providing you a dazzling effect thanks to the vibrant colouration, providing an interesting two-toned effect that is simply stunning, and will likely stop the casual garden gazer in their tracks. The perfect perennial for borders and patio planters where it will flower continuously from June to November. Reaching around 80cms tall and 60cm wide.

Reputedly hardy to -15° Celsius, it thrives in baking sun if you've a tricky spot, and does well in well-drained soil. Bees and butterflies will be extra busy when they spy this beautiful plant too.
