Amarine Belladiva Anastasia

Amarine 'Belladiva Anastasia' is a beautiful bulbous perennial created by combining two gardening classics, Amaryllis and Nerine, resulting in a spectacular late-season display. During autumn, it produces elegant clusters of rose-pink, lily-like flowers, providing a much-needed burst of colour just as many summer-flowering plants begin to fade. The blooms are followed by attractive clumps of waxy, lance-shaped foliage, making this variety a superb choice for seasonal borders, patio containers and cut flower displays.

Thriving in a bright, sunny, south or west-facing position with shelter from strong winds, 'Belladiva Anastasia' prefers fertile, well-drained soil that does not become waterlogged. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to encourage vigorous growth and abundant flowers, and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering to strengthen the bulbs for the following season. An excellent choice for rock gardens as well as borders, this elegant perennial will return year after year with a dazzling display of late-season colour.
