Amelanchier Lamarckii - June Berry Tree

Product ref: T28396

Availability: In stock

Amelanchier Lamarckii, commonly known as 'June Berry' or 'Snowy Mespilus', is a versatile tree that brings year-round beauty to the garden. In early spring, it bursts into life with clouds of star-shaped, pure white flowers, contrasting beautifully with emerging coppery-bronze leaves. As the flowers fade, the foliage matures to lush green before transforming into a spectacular display of red, orange, and gold in autumn. By early summer, small, edible, dark purple-black berries appear, attracting birds and adding seasonal interest.

Thriving in moist, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade, Amelanchier Lamarckii is perfect as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, or as part of a wildlife garden. Minimal pruning is needed, just remove any dead or damaged branches in late winter. Pair with spring-flowering bulbs like daffodils or hellebores for a breathtaking seasonal display.

Almost cried at the size and beauty of it.

I am over the moon at my huge tree, delivered very safely and happily the other day. Having a new build, there are zero trees or anything for wildlife, which makes me sad, so this year its time I started to landscape the garden. This tree brought me so much happiness just in its pot without its leaves, so I cannot wait to see it's full potential.
