Armeria maritima 'Armada Pink', commonly known as Sea Thrift, is a charming evergreen perennial that produces masses of baby pink flower heads held aloft on slender stems above neat cushions of grassy green foliage. Flowering from spring through summer, the rounded blooms create a colourful display that brightens borders, rockeries, gravel gardens, and coastal planting schemes. Its compact habit and long flowering period make it an excellent choice for adding reliable colour to smaller garden spaces and containers.
This easy-care perennial is particularly well-suited to sunny, well-drained locations and thrives in poorer soils where many other plants struggle. It pairs beautifully with campanula and sedum. Deadhead spent flowers regularly to encourage repeat blooming and trim away old flower stems once flowering has finished to keep plants looking tidy. Water during prolonged dry spells while establishing, but avoid overly wet conditions, especially during winter.
Armeria plants are dependable garden favourites, valued for their resilience, attractive, dark foliage, and ability to provide months of colourful blooms with minimal maintenance.
Supplied in 1 litre containers, ready to fill your garden.
