Azalea Silvester - Evergreen Silver Azalea

'Silvester' is a very compact, evergreen Azalea with beautiful rich pink flowers that are produced in early spring. Reaching only a metre in height when fully established, it is an ideal plant for the smaller garden or perhaps even a patio container where it can show itself off without being overwhelmed by other shrubs. Its pink blooms are visually very strong, they have a darker centre and slightly paler outer petals which give a fantastic, almost two-tone effect. It is perfect for making an impact on the patio or in a small border.

Likes to be kept moist, well-drained and in slightly acidic soil. Easy to grow and fully hardy, a fantastic plant for the any garden situation. Try planted with Acers, Rhododendrons and other Japanese plants for a wonderful, oriental effect.

Strong, bushy plants supplied in approx. 2-3 litre containers.
