Begonia Boliviensis Red
Availability: Out of stock
Begonia boliviensis is a striking choice for summer displays. This variety is loved for its arching stems laden with masses of narrow, pendulous flowers in deep shades of red. These blooms appear continuously from early summer to the first frosts, creating a cascading effect that’s especially eye-catching in hanging baskets, tall containers, and window boxes. With its lush green, serrated foliage and graceful, trailing habit, Begonia boliviensis adds a tropical flair to shaded or partially sunny areas of the garden.
Â
For best results, plant in partial shade or dappled sunlight in moist, well-drained compost. Keep watered during dry spells and feed fortnightly with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Protect from strong wind and remove spent blooms to keep plants tidy and flowering well.
