Begonia 'Illumination Rose' is a stunning trailing variety prized for its large, rose-pink double blooms that fall gracefully over the edges of hanging baskets, window boxes, and tall containers. It flowers continuously from early summer to the first frosts, and its lush green foliage and rich floral display bring softness and elegance to shaded or partially shaded spots. The full, ruffled petals give it a luxurious look, making it a standout feature in any summer arrangement.

Plant in well-drained, moisture-retentive compost in a shaded or part-shaded position. Keep the soil consistently moist and feed every two weeks with a high-potash fertiliser to encourage prolific flowering. This variety requires little maintenance and looks particularly striking when paired with silver-foliaged plants or deep purples for contrast.
