Bidens ferulifolia

Bidens ferulifolia is a colourful, long-flowering perennial that is sometimes planted as an annual due to its cascading mounds of vivid golden-yellow, daisy-like blossoms. The tiny, star-shaped blooms bloom from late spring until the first frosts, smothering delicate, ferny green foliage and producing a cheery and sunny effect in hanging baskets, window boxes, pots, and the front of borders.  

This drought-tolerant, low-maintenance plant thrives in well-drained soil and full sunlight, providing gardeners with continuous colour and nectar for bees and pollinators.  Regular deadheading can result in even more flowers. Bidens make an excellent combination with petunias, or trailing verbenas for a vibrant, long-lasting show in pots or mixed bedding. Perfect for brightening up any sunny outdoor area.
