Calathea Makoyana - Peacock Plant
The Calathea makoyana, affectionately known as the Peacock Plant, is one of the most decorative houseplants, celebrated for its striking, feather-like leaves. Each leaf features bold green patterns over a pale, silvery background, with deep purple undersides that reveal themselves as the leaves gently move throughout the day. Its intricate, peacock-feather design makes it a true showpiece in any indoor collection.
Thriving in partial shade, the Peacock Plant prefers moist, well-drained soil and high humidity. Keep the soil evenly damp but never soggy, and mist regularly to maintain lush foliage. Ideal for a bathroom, kitchen, or shaded living area, where humidity is naturally higher.
Supplied in an approx. 14cm pot.
