A fantastic bulbous plant with origins in North America, where it grew in the fertile great plains. Camassia are perennials that will naturalise very well if left over the years and will bear star like flowers of wisteria-blue, carried on long upright stems, these create a relaxed and natural atmosphere as they sway on the breeze in the garden.
The flowers will look stunning planted in garden borders or patio pots and containers. They also make a great feature as part of a cut flower display. Expect blooms in late Spring in to early Summer, with stems reaching up to 100-120cms.
