Camellia Oscar Borini

Camellia ‘Oscar Borini' is one of the best varieties around, producing large quantities of flowers. It will form a dense evergreen bush with upright shrubby growth, making it well suited for planting in a mixed border or for planting on mass to create an informal hedge or screen. This shrub blooms in Spring and displays distinct pale pink petals with bright pink streaks.  If happy, these plants will produce literally masses of flowers that fall from the plant when they are done and create a beautiful carpet around its base. 

We recommend planting in a spot that does not get strong sunshine in the morning, as this prolongs the life of the flowers when they are blooming. ‘Oscar Borinin’ requires acidic soil, like most Camellias, and it must be moist but well-drained. Make sure this is planted in a sheltered area.
