Carex Red Rooster
Carex 'Red Rooster' is a staple ornamental grass with fine, arching bronze-red foliage that adds texture, movement, and warm colour to the garden all year round. Its upright, fountain-like form makes it perfect for contrast planting in mixed borders, gravel gardens, or contemporary containers. Low-maintenance and evergreen, it brings interest even through winter.
'Red Rooster' thrives in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established. Cut back old foliage in early spring to refresh growth. Ideal for adding structure to modern gardens or softening edges in mixed plantings.
Supplied in approx. 1 litre containers.
