Improve the aesthetic and environmental value of your garden with our Carpinus betulus, or Hornbeam, 12-pack bare root hedging, with a supplied height of 60-80cm. With attractive dark green leaves and an outstanding golden-yellow colour in autumn, it is great for making dense, leafy hedges that offer not only privacy but also wind protection on more exposed sites.

Besides, it can tolerate a wide range of soils, including heavy clay types, and can be partially adjusted to the sun or partial shade, thus making it quite tolerant in the garden area. Also, bearing frequent clipping quite well for keeping in good, definitely kept shape, it is ideally suited for formal or informal gardens. For the best start, plant your Hornbeam hedging in well-drained soil and water thoroughly during its first growing season to establish a deep, strong root system.
