Cerastium Tormentosum
Availability: Out of stock
Cerastiruim tomentosum earned its moniker 'Snow-in-Summer' for its ability to create a dazzling carpet of pure white flowers that can transform dry, sunny areas of the garden into a scene reminiscent of a snowy Christmas. In late spring to summer, it produces masses of delicate star-shaped blooms atop its silvery-grey foliage, forming a ground cover that adds both colour and texture to borders and rockeries.
This hardy and drought-tolerant perennial thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, most impactful in cottage-style plantings. Trim back after flowering to keep it compact and encourage fresh growth. Pair with lavender, dianthus and alpine plants for a charming Mediterranean-style planting scheme that brings lasting brightness to the garden.
Supplied in approx 9 cm pot.
