Chilli Pepper Plant 'Jalapeno Tiger'
Availability: In stock
The uniquely marbled jalapeno for colourful harvests, Capsicum annuum 'Jalapeno Tiger', is a visually stunning take on the classic favourite. Producing chunky, tapered fruits around 6-8cm long, each chilli develops dramatic streaks of green, cream, purple and red as it ripens, creating a truly unique display. With a mild to moderate heat level of approximately 8000-12000 Scoville units, it delivers the familiar japaneo warmth with a fresh, slightly sweet flavour.
Ideal for growing in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, well-drained soil, this variety performs beautifully in pots, patios, or greenhouses. Keep plants well-watered and feed regularly with balanced fertiliser, switching to a high-potash feed once flowering begins to encourage a strong crop. Pinch out early tips to promote a bushier, more productive plant and trim lightly to maintain shape and airflow. A brilliant option for adding both ornamental interest and kitchen versatility, perfect for slicing into salsas, stuffing or enjoying fresh.
Supplie din approx. 9cm pots.
