The colourful favourite with a smooth, warming heat, Capsicum annuum 'Killian' is an attractive and productive variety loved for its vibrant colour and balanced flavour. The long, narrow fruits grow to around 8-12cm in length, maturing into a rich orange from mid to late summer. With a moderate heat of around 30000-50000 Scoville units, they provide a gentle warmth that is ideal for fresh use, stir-fries or adding colour and flavour to dishes.
Plant in well-drained, fertile soil in a warm and sunny position to support healthy growth. Water and feed routinely throughout the growing season to encourage steady fruiting, with light trimming if required. A great choice for home gardeners, its colourful harvest also adds visual appeal to outdoor spaces.
