Chilli Pepper Plant 'Lingua di Fuoco' (Dwarf)
Availability: In stock
The compact chilli with a fiery Italian flair, Capsicum annuum 'Lingua di Fuoco', is a decorative variety prized for its colourful fruits and manageable size. The slender peppers grow to around 4-7cm in length, starting green and maturing through shades of purple and orange until settling on bright red in late summer. With a moderate heat level of 10000-20000 Scoville units, they offer a decent kick that is best experienced fresh.
Plant in moist, well-drained, fertile soil in a warm, sunny position to encourage compact, healthy growth. Water regularly and feed throughout the growing season to maintain productivity, with minimal pruning required due to its naturally tidy habit. An excellent choice for patio pots and greenhouses, where it delivers both ornamental interest and a steady supply of colourful chillies ready to be picked.
Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
