Chilli Pepper Plant 'Pink Tiger'
Availability: In stock
The exotic marbled chilli with a fierce bite, Capsicum chinense ‘Pink Tiger’, originates from the USA and is a hybrid (between Bhut Jolokia and Pimenta da Neyde) known for its wholly unique fruit colouring, blending soft peachy tones with deep purple streaks. These elongated, slightly twisted chillies ripen through a dramatic palette while delivering an impressive level of heat, making them a standout both visually and on the palate.
Typically growing to around 5-7cm long, they are best in a warm, sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, moist, but well-drained soil. This variety thrives with consistent watering and regular feeding using a balanced fertiliser, followed by a high-potash feed during flowering and fruiting. Pinch out early growth tips to promote a fuller, bushier plant, and trim lightly to maintain airflow and shape. A superb option for adventurous growers seeking something truly rare, perfect for adding colour, curiosity, and a powerful kick to your chilli collection.
Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
