A fast-growing favourite with a sharp, energetic heat, Capsicum annuum 'Sparky ' is a vigorous variety adored for its bright flavour and quick cropping habit. The slender fruits grow to around 6–8cm in length, starting green and typically harvested at this stage, with some maturing to red from mid to late summer. With a moderate to hot heat level of around 20,000–40,000 Scoville units, they provide a crisp, immediate heat ideal for stir-fries, curries, and fresh use.

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a warm, sunny and sheltered position to promote strong growth. Water regularly and feed consistently throughout the growing season to maintain productivity, harvesting frequently to encourage continued fruiting. An excellent choice for home growers, particularly valued for its fast-cropping habit and ability to produce a steady supply of chillies over a long period.
