Chilli Pepper Plant 'Thai Halloween Black & Orange'

Product ref: VEG26361

Availability: In stock

The dramatic black and orange pepper with a spicy kick,  Capsicum annuum ‘Thai Halloween Black & Orange’, originates from Thailand and is grown for its uniquely coloured fruits that mature from deep glossy black to vivid orange. The slender, slightly curved chillies typically reach around 6–8cm in length, creating a dramatic two-tone effect on the plant. With a heat level of approximately 30,000–50,000 SHU, it offers a lively, punchy spice perfect for adding zest to a variety of dishes.
This variety thrives in a warm, sunny, sheltered position with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, making it ideal for pots, patios, or greenhouse growing. Regular watering is essential, alongside consistent feeding with a balanced fertiliser, switching to a high-potash feed as flowering and fruiting begin. Pinch out the growing tips early to encourage a bushier plant and heavier cropping, while light trimming helps maintain a neat shape and good airflow. A fantastic choice for adding bold colour and moderate heat to both ornamental displays and everyday cooking.

Supplied in approx. 9cm pots.
