This striking Clematis is sure to add character to your garden with its gorgeous colour combination, crimson flowers with yellow centres against green foliage.

A Clematis is always the perfect plant to soften a plain fence panel as it will climb over it and cover it in a sea of blooms in the spring. This plant flowers in the traditional Spring period but will often treat you to a second flush of flowers in early summer too. This is a deciduous plant, so the leaves will fall in the winter to make way for its spectacular return in the spring.

Clematis plants will enjoy a sunny spot and will also grow in partial shade. This is quite a low maintenance plant; no major pruning is required but its best to prune out any dead or damaged material after the first flowering. It will appreciate a generous mulch to protect the crown of the plant and keep the soil moist.
