Cornus alternifolia - Pagoda or Wedding Cake Tree - LARGE SPECIMEN

This Cornus alternifolia argentea forms a stunning architectural plant or small tree.

A superb, rare specimen, the Wedding Cake or Pagoda Tree as it is also known, has stunning dark green foliage that turns a deep red/purple in autumn and a striking tiered habit after several years of growth. Attractive clusters of white flowers appear in summer, sitting on the surface of the tiered branches, contrasting beautifully with the vibrant leaves and producing delicate dark blue fruit in summer. 

The overall effect of Cornus alternfolia is of an ornate Wedding Cake. Supplied in approx 15 litre containers at around 120-150cms tall.
