Cornus alba sibirica 'Baton Rouge'

Dogwood is a great addition to any garden for some beautiful year-round interest. Green leaves cover red stems in the spring and summer before deepening into a beautiful autumn purple. In the winter the leaves are shed, and the stems turn bright crimson, adding some lovely winter colour to your garden. The spring and summer will also provide you with small, cream flowers that develop into bluish-white berries in the autumn.

This plant will grow happily in most well-drained soils in full sun or partial shade. 'Baton Rouge' has been selected for it's extra vibrant red winter stems, that will shine out like a beacon in the bleaker months. They look especially good when their surrounding are cover in frost and snow.
