Corylus avellana Contorta 'Scooter' is a rare and unusual compact form of the contorted twisted stem hazel. Combining the unusual 'corkscrew' stems with stunning bright green leaves and tight curly stems. This is in tree form, with a clear stem and head of branches forming. It does best planted in a moist, well drained soil in sun or semi shade and it will grow up to 2.5m making it suitable for small or large gardens. For floral art, its twisted stems are ideal, especially when laden with catkins in spring!

This corkscrew hazel is ideal for the middle of a sunny border or large container. The twisted stems, provide a curious and unusual focal point and are really something to get people talking!
