Cosmos plants are popular annuals or perennials, originating from Mexico and Central America. They are perfect for bringing a bright and decorative presence to borders and containers alike. Cosmos Bipinnatus ‘Fizzy Rose Picotee’, a charming member of our collection, features large blush-pink blooms delicately edged with deeper rosy-pink tones surrounding sunny golden centres. Its finely divided foliage and free-flowering habit create a wonderfully airy summer display. Growing to over 1m tall, they are excellent for cut flowers.

Thriving in moist, well-drained soil in a very sunny, sheltered position, Cosmos perform best with regular deadheading to encourage continuous flowering. Water during prolonged dry spells and avoid overly rich soil to maintain sturdy growth. Pair with dahlias for a romantic cottage-style summer display. Ideal for borders, cutting gardens and patio containers.
