Cotoneaster hybridus Pendulus
Availability: Out of stock
Cotoneaster hybridus 'Pendulus' is a beautiful, weeping small tree or large shrub valued for its attractive shape and wildlife value. In the spring, it produces clusters of little white flowers that attract pollinators, followed by numerous brilliant red berries in the autumn and winter, which provide a rich food source for birds. Its lustrous, semi-evergreen foliage provides year-round structure and appeal, particularly in warmer regions.
This resilient, low-maintenance cultivar prefers well-drained soil with full sun to light shade. Ideal for small gardens, banks, or wildlife-friendly areas, its arching, pendulous branches add movement and softness to any environment. Light pruning in late winter will help maintain its shape. Combine with Ilex or Skimmia to create a bird-friendly landscape with long-lasting winter colour and texture.
Supplied as strong bare root trees.
